How it works
You paste a public TikTok link. The server reads the audio and cuts a 15-second snippet — by default from the middle of the media, or from whichever start time you type in. That snippet is sent to a music-recognition service (AudD) and matched against its database.
When there is a match you get the title and artist, plus the album and official listening links when the provider has them. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded from your device.
Step by step
What is rejected by design
- Douyin links are not accepted.
tiktok.com/t/…share links are not accepted — use the video URL itself.- Platforms other than TikTok, Instagram and direct media files are refused on purpose, not by accident.
Limits
- Media up to 10 minutes and 100 MB.
- One 15-second snippet per recognition.
- A small number of recognitions per address every 10 minutes.
- No audio or video is stored, and no download is offered.
